Kettlebell Snatches: A Lift For Football Players To Develop Game Breaking Speed!

You see kettlebells have been around a lot longer than the game of football and so have athletes. This ancient device is great at developing the muscles of your body by engaging you to train through manipulating movement patterns. So why does the make sense for football? Well the last time I checked you didn’t play the sport of football sitting down! The kettlebell snatch is a great explosive lift that trains all of the muscles of your posterior chain (muscles of your backside involved in the act of running and pulling) so that you can develop speed to burn your competitors on the gridiron.

To perform the kettlebell snatch you will need the เว็บเดิมพัน ufabet availability of at least a single kettlebell of moderate intensity. By the way, this single piece of equipment is versatile enough to give you a highly effective training program to improve every area of your football game. Anyway, I digress. Snatches are performed by you lifting the kettlebell from either the ground or from between your legs with one arm and up to a held locked out position above your head in one continuous motion. This is performed by you engaging your hips and knees in a quick and forceful movement of flexion and then extension. This is done to create the assisted momentum for you to pull the kettlebell up to a lateral position next to your head. In order for you to bring the kettlebell up to this “high pull” position you will want to mimic the motion of “pulling back on a bow.”

Once you have gotten the bell to this “high pull” spot you will notice that the kettlebell kind of floats for a split second. Once it reaches this point of weightlessness you will then want to vertically punch your palm towards the sky to lock the bell out overhead to complete the lift. This is one training exercise that will drastically improve your speed for the 40 time and for game time!
